Online Order: Ordering goods online provides a lot of convenience to people. The most important thing about ordering goods online is that you have a lot of variety for any item. Plus, everything you order is delivered to your home.

At the same time, there are many options available regarding payment for online goods, through which the benefit can also be availed. On ordering goods online, customers can make online payments or choose the option of cash on delivery. However, now Flipkart is charging extra cash on delivery.

Cash on Delivery Option

Cash on delivery means that the customer pays for the goods only after the goods are delivered to the customer. However, now Flipkart has started charging extra charges on cash on delivery, through which the customer will have to pay more charges on it.

This Will Be The Charge On Cash On Delivery

Flipkart has written on its website that the delivery charge is not hidden and is charged extra depending on the seller’s shipping policy. Earlier, Flipkart did not charge cash on delivery orders. Now whether you are ordering a product of Rs 150 or Rs 15,000 under cash on delivery policy, you will have to pay Rs 5 per order in addition to the delivery charges, if applicable.

Avoid The Charge

On Flipkart, when a customer opts for the cash-on-delivery option, this message also appears: “Due to handling costs, a nominal Rs 5 will be charged for orders placed using this option (COD). Avoid this fee by paying online now”. This means that Rs 5 will be charged for cash on delivery orders because of handling costs. This fee can be avoided by paying online.
